This morning I went for a walk down by the creek to collect rocks. I filled my canvas bag with smooth oval rocks in preparation for today’s class. I washed all the dirt off the rocks and painted them black. They were all ready for Art Therapy class. 🙂 Everyone had so much fun painting
My favorite painting from today’s class was this modest tree with pink blossoms (yes, sometimes I do have favorites shhh). The woman who created this painting has lost most of her speech; it takes her a while to form the proper pronunciation and she often stutters. Her motor skills are slipping as well. Her hands
I brought a big bag of decorative craft paper to Art Therapy today. The seniors just loved all the sparkle and glitter. There was gold paper, textured paper, and even paper with threaded flowers! We made these adorable owl bookmarks. I wish we had more time to create more than just one bookmark each. At
